So, its been a while....

since my last post.. I have the tendency to WANT to blog, but usually think that what I have to say/show holds very little interest to other people LOL

I've been very slack on the photographic side of things lately. I just seem to have come to a stale area, and need to get some more inspiration! You'd think with having 4 children, I'd have plenty of photo opportunities! But alas, I think my kids are sick of having the camera shoved in their faces, because they either 1) run away, or 2) bounce around and not sit still! Very frustrating LOL

Anyway, just thought I'd quickly update here before I totally forgot to.

It's getting close to Christmas! YAY... but also worriesome on the gift side of things :S

A post with a story :)

This time I have some pictures that tell a story, and mighty cute if I do say so myself :) We went away for the weekend a couple of weeks ago up to the Bunya Mountains. Beautiful spot it is. We took the kids on a rainforest walk where we totalled almost 3km in walking, so we decided to buy the kids an icecream when we got back to the kiosk area.

These photos show my youngest child, whose attention was captured by a group of Harley Davidson motorbikes pulling in. His eyes never left those bikes, but his icecream never got neglected either. Maybe men CAN multitask after all?

Time to show off some of my photos!

So we've had our DSLR now for (almost) 17 months, but only in the last 4-5 months has it come to the stage where I have dug deeper to learn more about the many buttons and gadgets that come with one of these amazing things. I've joined a forum that has helped me out ALOT since then, and I am slowly seeing an improvement in the quality and composition of my pictures.

Starting it off....

Ok, so I have a different blog that was for my scrapbooking, which I have now pretty much stopped doing for the while, and I thought it was time to start a blog that is dedicated mostly to my daily life and photography :)

So, I'll get posting soon with the (almost!) daily mumblings of my life as a mother of 4 :)
